Use the Duplicate item to create a copy of the active Stock Model entity. This copies the active state of the Stock Model into a new Stock Model as a single state.
To copy a Stock Model:
- Ensure the Stock Model you want to copy is the active Stock Model.
- Click Stock Model tab > Active panel > Duplicate.
The new Stock Model is added to the explorer. It has the same name as the original with _1 appended to it
For example, if you take the following stock model, Roughing, with ModelAreaClearance toolpath as the current active toolpath state.
To create a copy, click Stock Model tab > Active > Duplicate. PowerMill creates a new stock model called Roughing_1 with a single block state which represents the stock from the active toolpath state in the primary stock model.
