Longitudinal reinforcement

Longitudinal reinforcement is generated along the entire length of the beam. Parameters of longitudinal reinforcement include:

  • Parameters of lower bars
    • Type, diameter, and material of bars
    • Hooks
    • Number and length of longitudinal bars
  • Parameters of upper bars

    • Type, diameter, and material of bars
    • Hooks
    • Number and length of longitudinal bars
    • Length of vertical supports (a and b)

By default, longitudinal bars are continuous along the beam length. However, they can be divided above supports. After selecting Divide bars above supports, longitudinal bars are divided above a selected support. In addition, a length of anchors above the support can be specified for these bars.
