Manage the Tenant Administrator's role
In addition to assigning newly invited users to your tenant to be Tenant Administrators. You can assign existing users to be Tenant Administrators; or remove the Tenant Administrator's role from a user.
If required, you can disable the Tenant Administrator which frees the license and prevents the user from accessing Upchain.
Change an existing user’s role to Tenant Administrator
You must first add the Tenant Admin as one of the user's secondary roles. Then it can be set as their primary role.
Open Administration > Users.
Click the user for whom you want to assign the role of Tenant Administrator.
A user's details pane opens.
Click Edit.
Click Secondary role and select Tenant Admin from the drop-down list.
Click Save.
Click Edit.
Click Primary role and select Tenant Admin from the drop-down list.
Click Save.
Remove the Tenant Administrator’s role from a user
When you remove the Tenant Administrator's role from a user, you may then disable the user or reassign the Tenant Administrator another role.
Open Administration > Users.
Click on the user whose role you want to change.
The user's detail pane opens.
Click Edit.
Click Secondary role and select a role other than Tenant Admin from the drop-down list.
Click Save.
Click Edit.
Click Primary role to select the non-Tenant Admin role from the drop-down list.
Click Save.
Click Edit.
Click X corresponding to the Tenant Admin role in Secondary role.
Click Save.
