Publish a hub library to Library.io

Publish an existing hub library to Library.io to keep libraries in sync across hubs or to share them with a wider audience.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that:

  • You have an existing hub library: Either open an existing one or create a new library.
  • The library is saved and uploaded: Uploading may take a moment after the first save.
  • The library is not already linked to Library.io: Linked libraries show a link icon Link icon in the Content Manager. To publish it as a new library, unlink it first.

Steps

  1. In the Manage section of the toolbar, go to the Library.io section and click Create a new managed library in Library.io Push library icon.

  2. Select the Managed Folder in Library.io where you want the library stored.

    • Managed folders control permissions in Library.io.
    • Different users may have access to different folders.
    • Check the Library.io website to see which users have access to which folders.
  3. Click Create.

Important notes

  • Upload time: Uploading the library to Library.io may take some time.
  • Size limits: If the hub library is too large for Library.io storage, you will get an error message.
