Publish a hub library to Library.io
Publish an existing hub library to Library.io to keep libraries in sync across hubs or to share them with a wider audience.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that:
- You have an existing hub library: Either open an existing one or create a new library.
- The library is saved and uploaded: Uploading may take a moment after the first save.
- The library is not already linked to Library.io: Linked libraries show a link icon
in the Content Manager. To publish it as a new library, unlink it first.
Steps
In the Manage section of the toolbar, go to the Library.io section and click Create a new managed library in Library.io
.Select the Managed Folder in Library.io where you want the library stored.
- Managed folders control permissions in Library.io.
- Different users may have access to different folders.
- Check the Library.io website to see which users have access to which folders.
Click Create.
Important notes
- Upload time: Uploading the library to Library.io may take some time.
- Size limits: If the hub library is too large for Library.io storage, you will get an error message.
