Sync your hub library with Library.io

Keep your hub library synchronized with Library.io by pulling updates from the remote library or pushing your current changes. This ensures all users have access to the latest library content and maintains consistency across platforms.

Prerequisites

  • Open an existing library that is linked to Library.io (Linked libraries show a link icon Link icon in the Content Manager).

Pull updates from Library.io

  1. In the Content Manager, look for the update icon that appears when changes are available on Library.io.
  2. Navigate to Manage > Library.io > Pull changes from managed library on Library.io Pull library icon.
  3. If there are new changes to the same areas that have been changed remotely, select which symbol, footprint, or package to use in the dialog boxes that appear.

Push changes to Library.io

  1. In the Content Manager, look for the local changes icon that appears when you have local edits not yet pushed to Library.io.
  2. Navigate to Manage > Library.io > Push a new version to Library.io Push library icon.
  3. If there are remote changes, updates will be pulled first. If conflicts exist, select which symbol, footprint, or package to use in the dialog boxes that appear.

Important notes

  • Public library restrictions: If your hub library is linked with a public Library.io library, you can pull updates but cannot push changes.
