Show object location

If you know the name of an object, but not where it is on the schematic, the Show command locates the object in the canvas and shows you its properties.

1. In an Electronics schematics document, on the Design toolbar, click View > Show .

   The Show tool is highlighted in the toolbar.

2. In the command line field, enter the name of the component you want to locate in this format: @ component-name, for example, @ U$3.

3. On your keyboard, press Enter to accept the object name.

   The object is highlighted with a rectangle around it, and an information box appears with the object's properties.

4. Enter another component you want to find, or press Esc to exit the Show tool.
