AUDEXPANDEDIT

Allows offsetting lines individually by selecting a segment or a schematic line. If a segment is selected, it will list all the contained lines and prompt to select one to expand. Two offset modes, "Distance" and "Snap", are provided. "Distance" mode allows any offset distance, and "Span" mode only allows snapping to increments of the distance. The default mode is "Snap" and the default interval is 1. The interval can be changed with the "SetInterval" option in the command or the "Default Expand Interval" option in Utility Design Options/General Layout. If the offset distance is specified as 0, the line will be collapsed to the segment.

AUDEXTRACTTOMODEL

AUDGUYINSERT

Adds a guy. Optional command line arguments let you select a model name and define a status value (New, Existing, Removal). As you draw, if the start and/or end point are snapped to a structure (such as a pole or anchor) a topological connection is made. If you snap only one point to a structure, an anchor is added to the unsnapped end of the newly created guy.

  • Model features
  • Stylization

AUDINDUSTRYMODELEXPORT

AUDINDUSTRYMODELREMOVE

Removes Utility Design industry models from a drawing.

AUDLINEEDITOR

Displays the Line Editor palette which provides tabs for Line Sections and Transition Points.

AUDLINEFEATURE

Adds a conductor or segment to the drawing.  The polyline represents the geometry of one or more ducts and conductors within a trench. The command supports a nested syntax which allows you to create a nested collection of ducts and conductors (for example ducts that contain conductors as well as other ducts).

If you specify Overhead Run for the ModelName attribute of the segment, pole features are created along with the line as one operation. If you define an underground segment, no poles are inserted.

The MaxSpan parameter of AUDLINEFEATURE determines the maximum span between two poles when a new segment is created. If you specify an overhead segment when you draw a new segment, a pole is added at every point you click. If the gap between any new poles exceeds MaxSpan, poles are evenly inserted to divide the span as necessary so MaxSpan is not exceeded.

For more information, see About Design Layout.

AUDLINESECTION

  • The segments must be contiguous. (The start or end point of one segment must coincide with the start or end point of the other segment.)
  • The segments must be of the same model.
  • All features contained (directly or nested) by the first segment must correspond uniquely (with respect to its model) to a feature contained by the second segment.

  • Purge blocks: Clears all block definitions from the drawing, both 2D and 3D, and redefines the port definitions based on the configured source block drawings.
  • Clear temporary preview files: Clears any cached or stale style preview image files from the local temp. This may highly improve the performance of Style Editor.
  • Re-apply models: Re-assigns models to all current drawing design features to update them with the latest model definitions.
  • Regenerate styles: Forces a recreation of all 2D and 3D objects from their latest styles and style rules.
  • Validate all features: Forces validation of all features.
  • Resolve all features: Performs auto-resolve during the validation process if the validation option is chosen.
