You can use the Online Translation dialog box to convert text strings from one language to another without leaving your drawing, or you can use the batch command.
The batch command is especially useful when you need to translate a large quantity of text strings.
You can start the batch command by entering AMLANGCONV on the command line.
The batch command has the following options:
(amgtra (list
(list "ATTPROMPT" T)
(list "UPRESERVE" T)
(list "CONTROL" nil)
(list "WARN" T)
(list "IGNORECASE" nil)
(list "TEXTNORM" T)
(list "FILES" "c:\\work\\my.mld" "c:\\company.mld")
(list "NODEFFILE" nil)
(list "SRCLANG" "gb")
(list "DSTLANG" "d")
(list "PROTFILE" "c:\\my.prt")
)
)
The argument NEEDFUL skips all multi-language dictionary files created automatically as user-defined files.
The argument FILES provides and enables additional multi-language dictionary files to be searched in the sequence in which they were created.
The batch command writes to the protocol file GENTRANS.PRT. With the PROFILE option, you can create and specify your own protocol file. AutoCAD Mechanical toolset creates a new protocol for every drawing.
A protocol file may look like the following:
|
Meaning |
==========Drawing.dwg |
Drawing Name. |
(C:\work\) |
Drawing Directory. |
ENU -> DEU |
Source language |
C:\work\gentrau.mld |
