Exporting SQL Queries to Event files

SQL Queries may be exported to Event files (*.iwq) using this procedure. You may want to export SQL queries if you want to:

• open the data in another package for additional processing
• store the data elsewhere in some central repository
• use InfoWorks WS Pro as a central repository for data you use with other software

To export to SQL Queries to Event files

1. Right-click the Stored Query Object that you want to export in the Model Group window or Explorer window.
2. Choose Export Stored Query.
3. This will display a standard Windows Save As dialog. Enter a name for the Event files (*.iwq).
4. Choose where you want to save the *.iwq file, then click Save.
