Explanation

The fiber orientation prediction code has calculated the theoretical minimum value of the elastic modulus in 1st principal direction (E1), if the alignment of the fibers is fully random (), using the micro-mechanics model selected in the solver parameters. The composite (matrix+fibers) Elastic modulus, 1st principal direction (E1) value specified in the mechanical properties of the currently selected material is less than this theoretical minimum value which suggests the composite value is invalid.

Resolution

• Edit the current material and change the composite elastic modulus.
• Select a different material.
• If the material is from the Autodesk Moldflow materials database, contact Technical Support.
