Applies a contour as a stencil to a hatching to keep or discard sections as needed
Cuts and keeps or discards a section from an area of hatching. It expects one contour stack and one hatching stack. The contour is used as a stencil on the hatching, and depending on the parameter setting, any hatching included or excluded by the contour is discarded.
The types of input are marked on their connection lines, S for "solid", or "stencil", H for hatching. They can be swapped with the Switch input for Hatch Cutting option in their context menu.
Note: Any contours or contour segments passed by hatchcutting are turned into hatches, regardless whether they be segments of contours or complete, closed contours. They do not remain as contours, closed or open, and appear as $$HATCHES entries in the export, whereas contours would appear as $$POLYLINE entries.
