There are a number of additional commands available to edit faces in the Face tab.
- Face Type: Use the Face Type drop-down menu to choose between Prism and Flat. A flat face does not have any volume. A prism face allows you to add a thickness, offsets, and an edge overlap.
- Thickness: Enter the thickness for the selected prism faces.
- Shift: Offset the face from the nodes attached to it. A positive value moves the face in the direction of the front side of the face. A negative value moves the face in the direction of the back side of the face.
- Edge Overlap: Extend the face beyond the nodes or shrink the face inside the nodes. A positive value extends the face beyond the nodes. A negative value shrinks the face. The default value of 0.001 mm ensures that faces with common edges and nodes are connected.
- Remove: Click
Remove to remove all selected faces from the cell.
Tip: You can also use the Delete key on your keyboard.
