About Spare Parts Requests roles and groups
Note:
For users with Fusion connected sites, references to the 'Items' workspace should be the 'Components' workspace.
This template comes with the following roles. Assign these roles to the relevant groups requiring each level of access to spare parts requests.
- Spare Parts Requests [C] - This basic role enables creation and tracking of your own requests. With this role, you cannot see requests created by anyone else. This might be a role you assign to an external customer to enable them to create a request directly in Fusion Manage.
- Spare Parts Requests [R] - This role enables read access to all requests, not only your own processes. This role does not grant permission to create new requests.
- Spare Parts Requests [R/W] - This role provides full access to read and create spare parts requests and is required by all users editing and processing the requests. All users with this role can work on all requests simultaneously.
- Spare Parts Requests [ACCEPT] - This role is required to accept submitted spare parts requests. It is recommended to assign this role to a dedicated group of people who are notified when new requests come in and can therefore approve or reject them.
