Isocurve Analysis reference

The Isocurve Analysis tool applies UV mapping and curvature combs to help you analyze the quality of the curvature of a surface in Fusion.

Design > Inspect > Isocurve Analysis

Bodies/Faces

Select the bodies or faces to analyze.

Type

Select an isocurve type display isocurves on the surface in one or both directions.

• U and V: Displays isocurves in U and V directions.
• U: Displays isocurves in the U direction.
• V: Displays isocurves in the V direction.

Isocurves

Specify the number of isocurves to display on the selected bodies or faces in each direction.

Curvature Combs

Check to display a curvature comb along each isocurve.

Density

Specify the number of teeth to display in each curvature comb.

Scale

Specify the relative scale of the curvature comb.
