    Subdiv Unweld Edges

    Separates a subdivision surface along selected edges.

    Access the tool from the Subdivision Palette:

    Separate subdivision edges using the Unweld tool

    1. Select the tool .

    2. Pick the edges you want to separate.

      Note: You can also preselect edges with the Pick Edge or Select Edge Loop tools before choosing the Unweld tool.
