Exporting a Section to AutoCAD DWG

To export a section to DWG format

1. Open the Export Section Data to AutoCAD DWG dialog by either:
   • Right-clicking on a Long Section Window and selecting Export to AutoCAD DWG from the popup menu.
   • Selecting Export to AutoCAD DWG from the Section menu.
2. In the Export of Section Data to Autocad DWG dialog:
   • Choose a location and filename for the exported file by typing a path into the AutoCAD DWG File box, or by using the Browse button.
   • If using the Browse button, enter a filename in the File name box of the Save As dialog and click Save.
   • Select an aspect ratio (screen width over height) from the aspect ratio dropdown if required. The default aspect ratio value corresponds to that of the current Long Section Window.
   • If required, enter a scale factor in the Vertical exaggeration box. The default value of 1 indicates that no scaling will be applied when the file is exported.
3. Click OK to export the file.
