| Cause: | For any modal analysis the effective mass is determined in each translational direction and compared to the total mass in that direction. The theoretical upper limit is the total mass. This error message is output if that limit is exceeded and the modal mass is greater than the total. This usually indicates a problem with the eigenvalue extraction portion of the analysis and may be accompanied by other warning messages. | |
