E5044 WARNING: E5044 UNABLE TO PERFORM STURM SEQUENCE CHECK
Cause: One of the following conditions has occurred in the subspace eigensolver:
  • The solution has not converged to the specified convergence tolerance in the maximum number of iterations permitted.
  • A singularity was detected during the stiffness matrix decomposition portion of the Sturm sequence check.
Action: If the solution failed to converge, change one or both of the following parameters on the EIGRL Bulk Data entry:
  • Increase the maximum number of subspace iterations permitted.
  • Decrease the convergence tolerance.

If a singularity was detected, investigate the specified degree of freedom at which the singularity occurred and the entire model for a lack of constraint
