Specifies default operators for valves in a piping spec.
List of Options
Sets the default valve operator. You can assign an operator based on the size of the valve.
- Spec
- Lists the specs that are open in the spec editor. You can copy operator assignments to a different spec.
- Valves in Current Spec
- Displays all valves in the current spec. You can right-click to display copy and paste shortcut menus.

- Copy Valve Operators - Copies the valve operators to the clipboard. Operator type, shape, and dimensions are included.
- Paste Valve Operators - Pastes valve operator from the clipboard to one or more selected valve bodies. You can paste to a different valve type or spec.
- Default Valve Operators
- Sets the default operator to use for the size range.
- Override Catalog Valve Operator Settings
- Controls whether to override valve operator type or the size parameters.
- Valve Operator Shape Browser
- Displays the Valve Operator Shape Browser dialog box when the Override Catalog Valve Operator Settings option is selected.
- Size Parameters
- Sets the operator dimensions when the Override Catalog Valve Operator Settings option is selected.
