Create and manage a change notice

Before you create a change notice (CN), consider the following:

• The item that you want to send through a CN workflow must have a status of Released or Released External.
• Items marked as 'Reference only' in an eBOM cannot be ordered using a CN. However, they may be returned if this attribute has changed between CNs.
• Your Tenant Administrator must ensure that the CN workflow has a System primitive where the Type is set to Create mbom and clear locks. This ensures H quantities are recorded in Upchain.
