Reorder Bill of Materials rows

You can change the order of rows inside a Bill of Materials. You might do this to group related items together, such as:

• Similar-sized fasteners
• Purchased parts
• Manufactured parts
• Hardware
• Electronics

To reorder rows:

1. Select one or more rows that you want to move.

   Note: You can only move rows within the same parent. As you drag, a blue underline shows a valid drop location.

2. Drag the rows to a new location under the parent.

Changes persist across sessions and are reflected in exports.
