Access the Bill of Materials

Important:

If you're working in a hub with collaborative editing, skip to Access the Bill of Materials (collaborative editing). Check for this icon collaborative editing next to the hub name to confirm collaborative editing is available. Learn about collaborative editing.

  1. Make sure you are viewing a design that has been saved at least once.

  2. Go to the Design workspace.

  3. Do one of the following.

    • In the Assemble group, click Bill of Materials, or;

      bom

    • In the Fusion Manage tab (for Fusion Manage Extension subscribers only), click BOM.

      The Bill of Materials opens.

  4. Optional: In the Bill of Materials dialog, click the Part Name column header to sort alphabetically.

  5. Optional: Should data in the Bill of Materials seem to be out of date (for example due to updates done to a referenced component), click Refresh refresh button.

Each time you save your design, the Bill of Materials is updated with the latest changes. You can work on your design with the Bill of Materials dialog open.


Access the Bill of Materials (collaborative editing)

If you're using collaborative editing, follow these steps to access the Bill of Materials.

  1. Make sure you are viewing a design that has been saved at least once.

  2. Go to the Design workspace.

  3. Do one of the following.

    • In the Assemble group, click Bill of Materials.

    • Or, in the Fusion Manage tab (for Fusion Manage Extension subscribers only), click BOM.

      The Bill of Materials opens.

  4. Optional: Should data in the Bill of Materials seem to be out of date (for example due to updates done to a referenced component), click More more > Refresh BOM refresh button.

Each time you save your design, the Bill of Materials is updated with the latest changes. You can work on your design with the Bill of Materials dialog open.
