To Copy Shaft Segments (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. Double-click the centerline of the shaft to edit.
2. In the Shaft Generator dialog box, select the Copy button.
3. Select the section you want to copy.
4. The copy is attached to the cursor and can be moved to the insertion position. If you want to insert the copy at the location of an existing section, you have to decide whether the copied section should be inserted or overdraw the other section at the current position.

Note:

• With this option, any sections or sub sections of the shaft can be copied separately. Copied separately means that the element, for example, a bearing, inserted at a section, is not copied automatically in this version, if the section, where the bearing is inserted, is selected for copying. If the bearing is to be copied, it has to be selected also.
• The copied sections are automatically inserted at the current position.
