Use the Spine finishing page to project a tubular pattern onto the model, which is then machined. The curve that is used as the center of this tube (the focus of the pattern) is known as a Spine curve.
Pattern
Style — Select a style to define the shape of the pattern.
- Linear produces a sequential line pattern, separated by the Stepover distance along the rotary axis.
- Circular produces a circular pattern, separated by the Stepover distance.
- Spiral produces a spiral pattern.
Ordering — Select how successive toolpath segment are machined.
- One way — The tool cuts only in one direction.
- Two way — The tool can cut in both directions.
For more information, see Ordering examples.
Direction — Select whether the direction is Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise when using a Style of Spiral.
Angular limits — Specify the angular limits of the toolpath in the Start and End fields.

and an End of 360

This option is available only if you select a Style of Circular or Linear.

Tolerance — Enter a value to determine how accurately the toolpath follows the contours of the model.
Thickness — Enter the amount of material to be left on the stock within tolerance. Thickness is applied as an offset to the tool in all directions:
Stepover — Enter the distance between successive machining passes.
Angular stepover — Enter the angle between consecutive passes.
