ICMLive functionality is only available if the ICMLive option is enabled on your licence.
The data and results in a database is organised into a flexible hierarchy, which groups the elements of the database into manageable units.
The top level of the database hierarchy is either a Group or a Model Group. A Live Group may reside within a Group.
Live groups are primarily meant to host model objects specific to ICMLive but they can also contain other database items:
- Live group
- Action List (ICMLive-specific)
- Alert definition list (ICMLive-specific)
- Catchment initial conditions
- Custom Graphs
- Flow survey
- Ground infiltration
- Ground model TIN
- Inflow
- Initial Conditions 1D
- Initial conditions 2D
- Label list
- Layer list
- Level
- Manifest (ICMLive-specific)
- Manifest deployment (ICMLive-specific)
- Model group
- Overview GeoExplorer - automatically generated by InfoWorks ICM when a manifest deployment object is saved or deployed. (ICMLive-specific)
- Pipe sediment data
- Pollutograph
- Rainfall event
- Regulator
- Run
- Scalar time series data
- Selection list
- Spatial time series data
- Stored query
- Themes
- Trade waste
- Waste water

Tip: The Overview GeoExplorer is automatically created by
InfoWorks ICM as a child of the related
manifest deployment in the
Explorer window.
The Live Group and its contents are managed using the Explorer Window.
Create a Live group
- Right-click on the database in the Explorer Window or on a Group.
- Select New | Live group from the popup menu. The New Database Item dialog is displayed.
- In the dialog, type a name for the Live group or accept the default name.
- Click OK to create the group.
