To create a repair script

Create a batch of individual repair actions, each with adjusted parameters, and store it for convenient reuse.

A repair scripts may be created from scratch or duplicated from an existing script.

Note: To create a script you must enter Repair, and you cannot enter Repair without a part loaded in Netfabb. In the simplest case, load a part from the part library.

To create a new repair script

  1. In the context view, switch to the Repair scripts tab.
  2. Click New script.
  3. Enter a name for the script and click OK.
  4. In the context view, select a repair action from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click Add to add the action to the repair script.
  6. Adjust the specific properties of the action as required.
  7. Repeat Steps 5-7 until the repair script contains all the desired actions.
    Note: When executed, the repair script proceeds through each repair function. You can repeat commands multiple times throughout the repair script, each with its properties set to individual values.
  8. Click Save to save the repair script for later use.

To create a repair script from an existing script

  1. In the context view, switch to the Repair scripts tab.
  2. Click More actions and choose Duplicate current script.
  3. Enter a name for the duplicate script and click OK.
  4. Add and remove repair actions as required to modify the new script.
  5. Click Save to save the new script for later use.

Working with repair actions in a repair script

Apart from adjusting the actual parameters of repair actions, there are ways to manage repair actions within a script.

Task Steps

Insert a new action

Select an action from the dropdown menu and click Add.

Delete an action

Double-click its red Delete symbol, .

Execute an individual action in a script

Double-click its green checkmark, .

Disable/enable an action

Right-click an action and choose Disable action or Enable action, respectively.

This function is useful to compare the effect of similar repair actions with many changes.
