Cost Analysis of the Claim

When the claim is in the "Cost Analysis" state, the chosen Cost Handler can enter the associated costs related to this claim. The costs are then rolled up to a total cost.

The cost handler has the option to send the claim back for further investigation or to close the Claim. It is not required to enter any cost information in order to close the Claim. If no costs are entered against the claim, then the rolled up cost of the claim will be zero, which will be reflected in the reports.
