About 8D roles
Note:
This template is not currently available for Fusion Manage Extension sites.
In Fusion Manage, roles are used to assign a set of permissions for a specific workspace. Each team member participating in the 8D Reports process requires a role granting matching permission to this workspace. The following roles are provided in this template for a quick start. Administrators can adjust them when needed and introduce new roles instead.
- 8D Reports [R] - This role enables you to view 8D reports of all users in all states
- 8D Reports [R/W] - This role enables you to create and modify 8D reports. You can also progress the workflow of reports assigned to you
Groups are not provided as part of this solution. In Fusion Manage, roles need to be assigned to one or more groups. You should create groups based on who needs to view or participate in the 8D process.
