Run a Simulation

Simulation provides a way to visually determine if your current tooling location is appropriate for your laser projection cell. Simulate can:

• Determine what laser data is in the range for each laser projector
• See which target point locations are in the range for each laser projector
• Determine, using normal vectors, if the current angle and position of the projector relative to the tool will allow the projector to reach the correct parts of the tool.
• Detect if anything is in between the laser projector and the tool
• Determine the best path for the laser projector to take to minimize flicker

As a simulation runs, it measures the angle between the laser projector location(s) and each point on the canvas. Each intermediate line segment projected is color coded based on your Options settings. Points and line segments that are out of range or are pointed more than 90 degrees away from all enabled projectors are colored grey.
