View and Add New Document Settings
These settings determine geometry compression tolerances and lengths between data points for the current document.
| Compression Tolerance | Sets how far approximated straight lines are able to sag away from the original curved geometry. |
| Min Segment Length | If two laser data points are closer than this tolerance, then one point is removed until the distance between points grows larger than this value. |
| Max Segment Length | If the distance between two laser data points exceeds this value, a point is added in the center between the two points. Points are added until the distance between points is smaller than this value. |
