Implementation Request Workflow
An Implementation Request may pass through the following states:
Status | Remarks |
---|---|
Created | In created state, the requestor can provide any input and upload files to document the request. Once done, the request owner has to Submit the request. |
Review | When the Review state is reached, all users assigned to role Implementation Requests [REVIEW] will be notified about the request and find a given entry in their My Outstanding Work list. These users can decide if the request should be Rejected or put On Hold to pause processing of the request. If information is missing for the assessment, the request also can be returned to the requestor. Once the request has been validated and selected for implementation, the transition “Initiate Task” will create & link a matching Implementation Task automatically (which will get linked to the request). If the request is already being addressed by an existing Implementation Task, this task can be selected in Section #4 of the request. This will prevent creation of a new task. Section #3 can be used to capture remarks about the given decision and set a priority to provide guidance for the implementer later on. ![]() Section #4 will list the related Implementation Task. The task’s Implementer information and Target Implementation Date will be derived in real time. |
Task in progress / Completed | This status is controlled automatically by the system. Once the related Implementation Task is completed, the related request will be set to status Completed automatically. |
