Note:
For users with Fusion connected sites, references to the 'Items' workspace should be the 'Components' workspace.
A first article inspection (FAI) assesses the quality of a set of items that are selected from the first mass production run for testing. The items are chosen at random and act as a sample for the rest of the production run. If the parts inspected are produced to the exact customer requirements, it is assumed that every other part is correct too.
