Idea refinement and analysis

All users listed in the Team field can review, refine and analyze the idea using the given workflow actions. They do not necessarily have to provide further information.

Autodesk recommends doing a thorough analysis of the idea and documentation of findings. This is so as not miss an opportunity for product and business process improvements. This is supported by the section Related Ideas, where references to existing ideas can be captured, including similar and conflicting ideas.

Use the Assessment section to assess the ideas based on standardized criteria. Each assessment includes a comment field to justify a given assessment if needed.

The Analysis section shows the total score and a Score Flag based on the given idea assessment. The score ranges from 0 to 28 with ideas above 16 being considered as Great Ideas. This can be supported by capturing impact on the Time to Market and Estimated Investments if the given idea will be implemented.
