MODELING
- Fabrication data and Approval information displayed in the AutoCAD Properties palette (Object Properties Manager).
- Tapered beam feature transfer improvements: Features created on tapered beam objects are now transferred to the individual object parts of the tapered beam. This allows you to create features on the tapered beam compound element that has the graphical presentation set to
Complete. The features will be correctly transferred to all the individual parts (beams or plates) forming the tapered beam, when choosing to have the numbering behavior set to
Separated or when you disassemble the compound beam.
- Changed variable grating Length / Width behavior.
- Fixed a crash that occurred during polybeam creation: A crash appeared during a polybeam creation, when choosing AutoCAD controls over the polyline creation. The command to create a polybeam in Advance Steel is
Beam,Polyline (astm4CommCrBeamPoly) and is found on the
Objects
tab,
Beams
panel. Once the first point of the definition polyline is chosen, Advance Steel provides a series of controls over the polyline creation, through the command line. These controls are similar to the AutoCAD ones and are later used to generate the polybeam. You can choose
Arc ,
Undo and
Change UCS . When you use the
Arc command, another set of options is available:
Angle,
Center, etc.
- Corrected bolt lengths according to bolt standards
MODEL CHECKING
- Fixed displayed unit results for bolts in Clash Check: The Clash Check displayed results for bolt diameter and length in Metric units, even if in the model Imperial units were used. Now, the bolt diameter and length are displayed by the Clash Check using the model units.
