Bars on points

Puts a bar on local minima

Previously called Down-oriented points bar support

Parameter Description Notes
Description

Holds a text label for the action that remains visible even when the action parameters are collapsed in the script tab

Color

Sets a display color for the support elements generated by this action

Cannot be reverted once changed, only explicitly set to a new color

Cluster

Search parameters for areas of contiguous triangles requiring supports

Note: Point detection itself is independent of clusters. Cluster detection is only used as a secondary control, to filter where or where not point-supporting bars get placed per Supported tip shape selection.

See Cluster detection reference

Anchor distance

Sets the minimum distance between two anchor points or bars. In this way, support between two bars close to each other is avoided.

Supported tip shape

Both single vertices ("sharp tips") as well as convex clusters ("blunt tips") may be eligible for receiving bar support. This switch limits bar support generation to either of them.

All, Sharp, Blunt from cluster detection, Sharp outside cluster

Support properties Bar

Parametrization for the shape of the bars generated by this support action

See Bar support properties
