Create a non conformance

1. Open the Non Conformances workspace.

2. Click Create .

3. In the Basics section, fill in all fields as necessary. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.

   1. Beside Severity, choose the severity of the NC. Level 1 is the highest severity.
   2. From the Non-Conforming Item drop-down list, select the item that this NC is for. This creates a link in the NC to the item that is affected to make it easier for review.
   3. (Optional) In the Affected Quantity field, enter the number of non-conforming items that are affected.
   4. (Optional) In the Description field, enter any additional information that may be relevant to the NC.

4. In the Details and Images sections, optionally fill in other fields as it pertains to the non conformance.

   Note: The remaining sections are typically filled out as the NC progresses through its workflow.

5. Click Save.

The NC is created, assigned an item number based on the rules set for items created in this workspace, and added to the list of NCs in the Non Conformances workspace.
