Open Distribution Post File

This dialog is displayed when you open a Distribution Post file in ConfigPost or enable Config-by-Click in PartMaker when a Distribution Post file is loaded.

Complete the dialog as follows:

  • Customer PIN — Enter the customer PIN that was provided with your PartMaker installation. ConfigPost uses the PIN to ensure that only information relevant to your organization is displayed in the Post file.

  • View Post File — Click this button to view the Distribution Post file within ConfigPost. You cannot modify a Distribution Post file.

  • Create Non-Distribution Post File — Click this button to create a Non-Distribution Post file from this Post file. You can modify a Non-Distribution file to suit the needs or your organization. ConfigPost displays the Create Non-Distribution Post File dialog.
