Task Context
In section #4, users can connect the task to multiple context elements. This is optional and you may want to hide this section – at least at beginning of your project to reduce complexity. But it is pretty handy to manage more complex implementation.
Each task may be connected to a Business Process, Project Phase or an Event. This will create links to the given workspaces and allow to filter for the tasks of interest.
As this are linking picklists, users may create the reference record from here directly if needed.
Please note that Project & Phase are filtered / linked: Once you select the given Phase, the system will select the matching Project automatically based on the Phase’s details.
Once a reference record has been selected, the task will be added to the context items’ project tab to provide a Gantt for the given context (e.g. the project with its sub phases).
