Add measurement information to a QIP

Add the measurements that should be taken when carrying out this quality inspection. You specify the type of measurement, the device to use when measuring, the units, the nominal value to expect, and the tolerance.

To add a new measurement:

1. In the Measurements tab, click Add.
2. In the Reference column, enter a name for the measurement.
3. In the Measurement Device column, enter the name of the device to use to take the measurement.
4. In the Units column, enter the units the measurement should be taken in.
5. In the Nominal column, enter the expected value for the measurement. This should be in the units you specified in the Units field.
6. In the Tol (+/-) column, enter the allowed tolerance for the measurement. This should be in the units you specified in the Units field.
7. Click Save.

Click Add and repeat the above steps for any additional measurements to include in the QIP.
