Head discharge tables define the behaviour of some controls by listing the discharge from the control at varying head levels. Head discharge tables are required for:
- Some types of Pump (Rotodynamic pumps and Archimedean screw pumps)
- User Defined Controls (Compound weirs/orifices and Vortex controls)
- Nodes of Flood type Gully 2D
- Nodes of Flood type Inlet and Inlet Input Type HeadD

Head discharge power table |
The records for the head, discharge and power are entered on the grid in the Head discharge power table window which is displayed by clicking the button. The values entered on the grid will be displayed on the adjacent graph in the Head discharge power table window. Normally data should be stored in ascending order of head. However, Rotodynamic pumps and Variable Frequency Drive pumps, which also make use of the power record, require the data to be listed in descending order.
