Manage project activity attachments

Note:

This template is not currently available for Fusion Manage Extension sites.

You may want to attach files to an activity, such as forms to fill out during the completion of the task, additional information documents, or the specific customer requirements achieved during the task. When the activity is complete, all attachments are uploaded to the parent project as well for ease of access to all project documentation.

Add an attachment

  1. From the Engineering Project Activities workspace, open the project activity you want to attach files to.
  2. From the Files tab, click Upload.
  3. Locate the file you want to upload and click Open.
  4. In the Upload window, specify a name, description, and folder for the file.
  5. Click Upload.

Work with project activity attachments

Once a file is uploaded, you may work with it in a number of ways.

  • If a file is a supported file type that can be viewed in the Viewer, it shows as a clickable link. Click an attachment to view the file. See Attachments.
  • Select the attachment and click Download to download a copy to your computer.
  • Click Bulk Download to download all attachments at once.
  • Select an attachment, then click More Actions for additional actions to perform on the file, including uploading a new version of the file and removing it.
