Clone a QI

A quality inspection might contain similar information to another inspection that you want to create. You might also have quite a few items to inspect and therefore need to create many QIs. Instead of filling out a new QI from scratch each time, you can clone an existing QI to create another one, then only modify specific fields as required. See Clone an Item for information on how to do this.

When the QI is created, it is assigned an item number based on the rules set for items created in this workspace and added to the list of QIs in the Quality Inspection workspace. It has a status of Open. You may now continue to modify the content of the QI.
