Manage QI measurements and results

Note:

For users with Fusion connected sites, references to the 'Items' workspace should be the 'Components' workspace.

Add measurements

The quality inspection may contain measurement results to fill in. To do this:

  1. From the Quality Inspections workspace, open the QI you want to enter in measurements.
  2. From the Measurements tab, click Edit.
  3. Enter the measurement into the correct cell in the Actual column.
  4. Click Save.

The difference between the Actual and Nominal values is automatically calculated and entered into the Deviation column. Depending on the tolerance set as shown in the Tol (+/-) column, the Flag updates to either Pass (green) or Fail (red). The steps to take next depend on your business processes and company standards.
