Material Control Processes (MCPs) (PartMaker)

Material Control Processes (MCPs) are turning processes for transferring and handling parts during machining.

You must insert the MCPs required during machining into the Process Table, so that PartMaker includes them in the NC Program file.

To insert MCPs into the Process Table:

  1. Select Job Optimizer > Insert Material Control Process to display the Material Control Process Parameters dialog.
  2. Complete the Material Control Process Parameters dialog to insert an MCP into the Process Table. By default, PartMaker inserts MCPs at the top of the Process Table, but you can move them to a different position.
