Use the Tailstock Retract Material Control Process (MCP) to retract the tailstock from the face of the part on machines with a hydraulic tailstock. The tailstock remains in its retracted position until you use the Tailstock Forward MCP.
When you select Tailstock Retract, the following settings are available on the Material Control Process Parameters dialog:
Process Time — Enter an estimate of the time it takes the tailstock to retract.
Tip: Use the Process Table Time Units option on the Preferences dialog to select the unit (Minutes or Seconds) for entering process times.
Note — Enter any note you want to be associated with the process.
User Data — Click to display the User Data dialog, where you can specify custom data (known as User Data) for the current Post Configuration file.
