Change Tasks
The Change Tasks workspace manages all change tasks created for change requests and change orders.
Change tasks capture the activities required for change requests or change orders that may involve other stakeholders. By defining tasks, you manage actionable items needed to implement a change within specified target start and completion dates. Additionally, you can select a reviewer for each task. In this case, the task results must be reviewed before the task can be completed. This is useful if task results are required by other task owners as they will be notified automatically and it gives them the chance to reject the results if they are not of a certain quality.
Change tasks are created within the context of a change request or change order. Change tasks impact the completion of parent processes (change requests, change orders). The system validates task completion before allowing the parent process to move to the next workflow status.
