Bill of Materials view
The Bill of Materials tab of the Requirements workspace is used to manage and explore the hierarchy of requirements. You may want to configure standard BOM views to make the most of this template’s mechanism.
This topic includes a list of views with recommended columns. These views cannot be provided by the Template Library and must be created by the site administrator. These views are not technically required, and you can choose the columns (sequence) as you like. However, the following list of views probably will address most of your user’s needs and are better starting point than the standard views provided by the Template Library.
Note that the view Assessment mentioned below also contains two BOM rollup columns to determine the total cost and total effort. If these rollups are used, click Add Field to create these two fields:
