Importing HYDX Network Data

HYDX network data can be imported from csv files to InfoWorks networks. In order to import the data, the following fields must be included in the CV files:

Note: To ensure that any entry in the HYDX csv file, which is enclosed by double quotation marks (" "), is correctly imported, any semi colons (;) present within single field entries enclosed by double quotation marks will be interpreted as field separators rather than part of the field entry.

To import HYDX network data to an ICM InfoWorks network

  1. Open the InfoWorks network to be updated.
  2. Select ImportModelfrom HYDX network data from the Network menu, and a Windows File Open dialog is displayed.
  3. Enter the path to the folder which contains the csv files to be imported in the Folder box.
  4. Click OK to import the data.

    When the import process is complete, a log file, which contains any conversion errors or warnings, is displayed.
