UND File Conversion - Hydraulic Parameters

Data in the [MOUSE_HYDRAULIC_PARAMETERS] group of the UND file is used to determine conduit headloss and roughness data to be imported into the InfoWorks ICM User Defined Defaults and Conduit tables. This topic contains details on the conversion of MOUSE hydraulic parameters information to InfoWorks ICM.

Default Head Loss

The Default Head Loss values are used to determine the values to be imported into the InfoWorks ICM conduit US Headloss Type and US Headloss Coefficient fields. See the Note on Headloss Coefficient Calculations for further details.

Default head losses are read in from the UND file (if present) or are assigned the values specified in the April 2003 MOUSE Pipe Flow Reference Manual (see table below).

Default Head Loss values will be overridden by any Specific Head Loss values defined.

Default Friction Loss

The Default Friction Loss values are used to determine the values to be imported into the InfoWorks ICM conduit Bottom Roughness and Top Roughness fields. See the UND File Conversion - Links topic for further details.

Default friction losses are read in from the UND file (if present) or are assigned the values specified in the April 2003 MOUSE Pipe Flow Reference Manual (see table below).

Default Friction Loss values will be overridden by any Specific Friction Loss values defined.
