** ERROR 3000406 ** Material change - The selected injection shot is invalid.

Explanation

The format to change a material is <Material Location="filepath or .ubd file" ID="material id number" Shot "overmolding shot number">.

When analysing an overmolding process, it is possible to change the material for any of the overmolding shots. Only 2 shot overmolding is currently supported by Autodesk Moldflow Synergy - User Interface.

Error 3000406 will occur when the "Shot" value is above 2.

Resolution

Check the Modifier file used by the studymod utility and correct the "Shot" parameter to a valid value.
